7-8:30PM | Intro to Neighborhood Radio Watch

Mother Lode Lions Hall, 4701 Missouri Flat Rd., Diamond Springs, CA

The public is always welcome and invited. The Mother Lode Lions Club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Dinner is optional and served at 6:30 PM, and is $10 per person.

Lions are a very important local Community Service Group for our Club to work with:

  • Lions Help During Disasters Their motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help their local communities. Together, their Foundation and Lions are helping communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing and medical supplies – and aiding in long-term reconstruction.
  • Lions Serve Youth Their community projects often support local children and schools through scholarships, recreation and mentoring. Internationally, they offer many programs, including the Peace Poster Contest, Youth Camps and Exchange and Lions Quest.
  • Lions Award Grants Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded more than $700 million in grants to support Lions humanitarian projects around the world. LCIF was also ranked the number one non-governmental organization in a 2007 study by The Financial Times.
