Placerville Fire Safe Council and the City of Placerville are hosting the Placerville Wildfire Awareness Day on Saturday March 19, 2022. The event will be held at Placerville Town Hall from 10 AM - 3 PM. Attendees can learn about home hardening & defensible space, native plants, alternatives to burning, and meet multiple local public safety agency representatives. El Dorado County Fire Protection District will be attending and we hope to see you there!
This event will feature representatives from El Dorado Amateur Radio Club and Neighborhood Radio Watch programs, EDC Fire Protection District, EDC Fire Safe Council, Office of Emergency Services, Forest Service, CalFire, Vegetation Removal Services, Georgetown Divide Resource Conservation District, Native Plant Society, and more.
