All members of the public are encouraged to attend this in-person/online presentation by Alan Thompson, CERA's Public Information Officer and Bob Hess, CERA's Chair & President, to learn more about the Neighborhood Radio Watch program.

California's recent fire history will be highlighted and how this is impacting our modern-day telecommunications systems and placing people's lives at ever greater risk. We'll cover how El Dorado County's Neighborhood Radio Watch program was developed in response to this threat, and provide examples of how this service was used during the 2021 Caldor Fire and the December 2021 "Snowmageddon" winter snow storm/power outage that affected residents for weeks into January.
