The Community Emergency Radio Association (CERA) will be participating in the 2nd annual Placerville Fire Safe Council's Wild Fire Safety Day.
A number of agencies will also be in attendance, including:
El Dorado County Fire District
Placerville Police Department
CalFire
US Forest Service
El Dorado Forest
El Dorado County Animal Control (to address animal evacuation and care)
This event will be co-sponsored by PG&E who will also be attendance and offering financial support.
An outdoor display and demonstration of various fire equipment is being planned and potentially a fire line construction and simulated mobile attack by CalFire.
