In coordination with the West Slope Foundation, Alan Thompson, CERA's Public Information Officer, will be delivering a "Let's Talk" Communications Workshop to the residents of Grizzly Flats who lost their homes in the Caldor Fire. The workshop includes a demonstration of using a GMRS handheld radio to access CERA's radio repeater network and how CERA's Neighborhood Radio Watch program can help the community prepare and stay informed during disaster events.
This meeting will be held at Pioneer Fire Protection District Station 38 located at 7060 Mt Aukum Rd in Somerset, CA.
