Our main presentation will be from Paul Duer (WA7SAR) who will share his long history and experience with El Dorado Search and Rescue and as the lead for EDSAR's Communications Team. EDSAR's many volunteers support the Sheriff's Department during disasters and emergencies with a mission to save lives and reduce human suffering.
We will also hear mini presentations on the CQP expeditions to Alpine County from Jay Harmor (KE6GLA) and to Shasta County from Bob Hess (W1RH) and Jordan Heichman's (WC6J) SOTA (Summits on the Air) operation from 3 peaks near Yreka, California.
The El Dorado County Amateur Radio Club invites all members of the public to join our monthly meeting to meet club members and learn more about amateur radio.
