8AM-12PM | Marshall Medical Center antenna/cable testing
The El Dorado County Amateur Radio Club (EDCARC)'s Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) members will be assisting Mike Sumersille, Marshall Medical Center's (MMC) Emergency Management Coordinator and EDCARC ARES Emergency Coordinator with testing, repairing, and replacing any equipment as required to ensure the operational readiness of antennas, cables, and radio equipment for hospital use in daily operations, emergency response, and emergency simulations.
All materials and safety gear will be provided by MMC.
EDCARC ARES members will meet up meet up afterwards and practice their WinLink skills via their electronic devices.
