The Consumnes/Oak Hill Neighborhood Radio Watch group will be participating with the Logtown Fire Safe Council in the evacuation drill that will be run by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services. Residents of Crystal Blvd are encouraged to sign-up to participate in this drill which includes receiving an evacuation order that will be sent to participant cell phones, followed by door-to-door visits from Sheriff Deputies asking residents to evacuate.
Evacuees will report to Union Mine High School located at 6530 Koki Ln, El Dorado, CA, where a county-wide town hall meeting will be held from 11:30AM to 12:45PM to discuss wildfire preparedness and the new El Dorado County evacuation zones and routes that can be found at perimetermap.com.
