6-8PM | Repeater Basics & CERA's Radio Network

Curious about how radio signals travel further, or how CERA manages its robust communication network? Join us for an insightful presentation designed especially for CERA Neighborhood Radio Watch members and El Dorado County Amateur Radio Club members! We'll start with the essential principles of repeaters, then explore CERA's sophisticated 2-meter voting system. You'll also learn about our full suite of repeaters, including those supporting our vital Neighborhood Radio Watch program. To top it off, we'll give an overview of popular digital modes (DMR, Fusion, D-Star, P25) and conduct an engaging live demonstration showcasing the difference between DMR and traditional analog FM.

Please RSVP to Bob Hess at chair@cerafund.org to confirm your attendance. The presentation will be held in the reserved room at Roundtable Pizza on 3975 Missouri Flat Rd in Placerville, CA.
